Why Obstetrics And Gyno?

I am a Board-certified OB/GYN specialist. I started my medical career after I graduated from medical school in Rome, Italy in 1976. I have been trained in emergency medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, gynecological oncology, pelvic reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. From the beginning of my medical career, I have dedicated myself to taking care of the women in all stages of their lives. For over 30 years, I have helped women deliver their babies, and care for her gynecological needs. I enjoy this phase of my life very much where I can help women feel and look great.

Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be a physician. During my residency, I discovered that I enjoyed delivering babies, gynecological surgery, cosmetic surgery and being involved in the general well-being of my patients. I provided comprehensive care and was also able to treat colds, deliver babies and also do surgery.

Since 1996, I’ve specialized in cosmetic surgery and pelvic reconstruction. I am concentrating on delivering care for women who have had traumatic births with anatomical and sexual consequences. The reconstructive surgery involves surgery of the vagina, bladder and rectum. The cosmetic surgery makes women feel and look wonderful. I have performed hundreds of tummy tucks and breast augmentations and liposuctions.

After 34 years of practicing obstetrics and gynecology, I feel those women understand me and that I, for the most part, understand them. It is my belief that I know what they want and what is important to them. Hopefully I attended to all of their medical needs with sincerity, knowledge, trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and above all excellence.

The goal is simple. It is to provide women with the best gynecological and cosmetic surgery care that can be offered to a patient.

With pride, I say that in 1996 I stopped counting how many babies I delivered at 4,023 but continued to deliver babies until 2002. I have also performed over 10,000 gynecological and cosmetic surgeries over this long period of service. Now I am proud to say that I am taking care of the babies I delivered, who are now young women. I am honored still to be apart of my patients lives.

The only hobbies I have and enjoy are watching my children and now grandchildren grow up to be the magnificent people that they are. Everything that I have accomplished in life, I owe to my wife. She has worked hard to keep me and our medical offices going and has given me the incredibly beautiful and talented family I have and above all she loves me.
