Labiaplasty Minora

labia minora reductionThis surgery is designed for the removal of excess, discolored and loose skin on the inner lips of the vagina called the labia minora. The excess skin may cause chronic irritation, rubbing, or discomfort during sexual intercourse.

The labia minora is usually traumatized during a vaginal child delivery which causes disruption, scarring and stretching of the inner vaginal skin.

The labia minora can also grow quite large with estrogen stimulation during and after puberty, but especially with pregnancy. The labia minora can also be affected by aging and gravity.

Labiaplasty on the labia minora (Labial Reduction) is done under local anesthesia in the surgical suite in our office – at dramatically decreased costs. The procedure can be assisted by a laser to reduce the postoperative discomfort and speed up the healing.
