“For many years I have been suffering with pelvic pain. Sex with my husband was so painful that I almost indurated the idea of being intimate. A simple procedure done by Dr. Cappiello in less than 2 hours gave my life back to me” -M.N.
There is a reason why the American Board of OB/GYN has proposed a new subspecialty described as Female Pelvic Health and Pelvic Reconstruction. Vaginal birth has been responsible for many female issues such as pelvic floor prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, vaginal pain with intercourse, pelvic support anomalies as well as the disruption of normal vaginal anatomy and function. At times, it seems that vaginal birth is detrimental to pelvic female pelvic health. There is no doubt that sexual function and gratification in women is related to pelvic floor conditions. As a Urogynecologist, my role is to reconstruct and restore the vagina and sexual gratification to the post-virginal and pre-birth woman.
Pelvic reconstruction, restoration of vaginal function and healthy sexual response are increasingly in demand. No longer are women tolerant of pelvic pain, painful intercourse, and functional disruption of the normal anatomy and decreased sexual activity and response. Women don’t need Viagra, they need to restore the physical (and emotional) sexual response and function of the vagina that was present before vaginal birth. In Europe, many women who have had vaginal childbirth, have a vaginaplasty at the same time they obtain a tubal ligation or when the decided to end childbearing.
I have been repairing many pelvic and sexual syndromes that have been associated with prolonged and traumatic vaginal births, especially if combined with the use of episiotomies and forceps. As a Urogynecologist, I have performed over 3000 thousand pelvic reconstruction procedures to correct urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, organ prolapse, pelvic relaxation, pelvic pain, and cosmetic procedures that eliminate the scars, pain, sexual and orgasmic dysfunction while restoring youth to the vagina.
Vaginaplasty involves the restoration and beautification of the labia minora, labia majora; restore the vaginal axis of the vagina, vaginal tightening, clitoral enhancement and restoration of the G Spot using your own fat cells for a more gratifying relationship. As a Female Pelvic Health and Pelvic Reconstruction Specialist, I am uniquely qualified to restore the youthful sexual anatomy, function and response with minimal discomfort and intervention in my certified office surgery center.
